Born and grown up in one of the most folkloristic areas of Sweden, namely Dalecarlia, where he actually didnīt play the fiddle like most of them do, but drums in local dancebands.
When
he joined Barfota Jazzmen almost two
decades ago he was forced into retraining and in a short time he graduated as an
extraordinary good and able percussioner in the traditional style, though it
took him a pretty long time to definitively get rid of the high-hat cymbal.
Although we must admit than his real big interest in his musiclife is military
marches, we are very content with his 4/4 rhythm, beaten on his Slingerland
bassdrum from the roaring 40s.
