She
was more or less completely unexperienced concerning traditional jazz in general
and New Orleans jazz-singing in particular, when she joined Barfota
Jazzmen more than a decade ago. But she is a very versatile singer in many
contexts; from churches and choirs to dance- and popbands. She has been working
hard to try to learn this very special style of singing and she has constantly
improved through the years.
